Greenwich graduate becomes Prime Minister of Ethiopia

Congratulations to Greenwich graduate Abiy Ahmed, who has just become Prime Minister of Ethiopia.

At 42, Mr Abiy is the youngest leader in Africa, taking over the helm in the continent’s second most populated country, which has some 105 million people.

He gained an MA in Transformational Leadership and Change at the university’s partner in Ethiopia, the International Leadership Institute (ILI), graduating in 2011.
