Join fellow outstanding international alumni and apply for the British Council’s Alumni Awards

Applications opened last month for the 2019-20 Study UK Alumni Awards.

The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of international alumni studying in the UK and showcase the impact and value of a UK higher education. Award winners and finalists are leaders in their fields who have used their experience of studying at a UK university to make a positive contribution to their communities, professions and countries.

Alumni can apply themselves or be nominated by friends and colleagues. The awards can present enormous opportunities for participants including:

  • Raising your international profile

  • Widening professional networks and business connections
  • A platform to share your experiences of UK Higher Education and your career with others (particularly younger people)

The University of Greenwich has tasted success in recent years, with 2012 Business graduate Kelvin Chan winning the Entrepreneurial Award at Hong Kong’s national awards in 2016. Earlier this year 2015 graduate Ahmed Somaida made the final shortlist for the Social Impact Award in Egypt.
