5 things to do as a new graduate

As a new graduate you may be wondering what you need to do to enrol into the university’s alumni community. Well, great news, you’re already a part of it!

From everyone in your Alumni Team we’d like to say a big welcome and let you in on some quick wins to get you started as one of our new alumni.

  • Take advantage of the Employability and Careers Service (ECS)
    Did you know you have two years’ access to ECS? They can help you find graduate placements and internships as well as offer support through CV building and psychometric tests. More information can be found online or by emailing ECS at employability@gre.ac.uk.

  • Connect with our social and professional networks
    As well as finding out the latest university and alumni news on our Facebook and Twitter pages make sure you also join our alumni LinkedIn group. This is a forum for you to ask questions, post opportunities or seek advice from a global community of over 11,500 connected University of Greenwich alumni.

  • Sign up for your free alumni pass
    Your alumni pass will give you access to all three university libraries (Stockwell Street, Drill Hall and Avery Hill) as well as discounted membership rates at our university gyms at Avery Hill and Medway campuses.
