Row, Row, Row your boat and help the university to help others!
The University of Greenwich and Greenwich Students’ Union have signed up to take part in a national challenge to row 2020 miles and raise £3000 for Sport Relief and they want you to be part of the team!
From now until the 13th March the university are looking for students, staff, alumni and partners to join the challenge which aims to:
- Promote mental fitness and raise awareness of mental health
- Engender team spirit, inclusivity and reduce isolation
- Raise funds for Sport Relief
The challenge, Row Britannia, is an inclusive mental health, fitness and wellbeing challenge organised by The British Inspiration Trust (BRIT), for teams throughout the UK to raise vital funds and positive awareness.
The team row challenge will be taking place across the university’s three campuses in Greenwich, Avery Hill and Medway with celebratory events on 22 January, 24 February and 5 March.
