Library membership and online journals

We are delighted to offer a discounted library membership scheme to all members of the alumni community, offering access to campus libraries for £30 annually.

With an alumni library membership, you can borrow up to 5 books at any one time, access free WiFi access, and receive a laminated card which will provide physical access to the sites.

To register an account with the Library Services Team, please complete this short form. Due to the university’s licensing obligations, alumni are unable to use university computers or any electronic information products, other than online catalogues and specific alumni-only resources which are accessible online (e.g. online journals as outlined below). Once your account has been approved, you will be sent a payment request. Your membership may take up to four weeks to be approved.

Please note: existing alumni passes are no longer valid.

Free access to online journals

We are also pleased to be able to offer free access to both JSTOR and Sage.

Separate to your library membership an account will need to be created, so please complete this short form and your account should be live in approximately one week. For questions relating to online journal access, please contact the Library Services team at library@gre.ac.uk.

Open access resources for alumni

The University of Greenwich Library Service has put together an extensive collection of open access resources to support alumni who are interested in further study, research and lifelong learning. Explore all the resources they have collated for alumni.

Events and exhibitions

Throughout the year, alumni are invited to a number of in-person and virtual events, from talks by alumni to a range of public lectures from industry and our expert academics as well as public exhibitions at our university galleries.

You can find the latest events for alumni on our website.

University of Greenwich Galleries

There are three exhibition spaces on the Greenwich Campus: The Stephen Lawrence Gallery; The Project Space and the Heritage Gallery. Alumni are welcome to attend exhibitions throughout the year, and by joining the gallery mailing list, will be the first to hear about special events and previews.
