Jez Frampton is Global Chief Executive Officer of Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy.

Interbrand is the agency behind the campaigns of thousands of household brands, from Microsoft and McDonalds to Cancer Research UK and the BBC. It also runs the widely respected Best Global Brands report.

Jez doesn’t just shape strategy and growth for the company’s 30 offices worldwide, he has been instrumental in shifting the industry’s understanding of brand from just another word for ‘logo’, to an organisation’s most valuable asset.

“I joined Interbrand as UK CEO in 1998 and became global CEO ten years ago. In the first five years I spent a lot of time educating clients on what brands were, and how to leverage them. Now they are no longer seen as a subdivision of the marketing department, they’re how you do business. We believe brands have the power to change the world.”

Jez is a regular commentator on the BBC, CNN, CNBC and FOX, and uses his profile to support philanthropic causes. In June 2014 he was honoured by Arms Around the Child charity at The Other Ball for his long-time dedication to corporate citizenship – the idea that businesses have social responsibilities.

He was signatory to a letter in The Telegraph last year urging business and public sector boards to rebuild public trust by focusing on social purpose above financial targets.
