Course: BA Business Management, 2010

Job: Interim Project Manager, NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit

“I learnt so much during my studies at University of Greenwich and received a lot of support.”

Memories of Greenwich

My fondest memories are of the group chats with my course mates and lecturers. I remember meeting up with groups of classmates twice a month on Saturday mornings after finishing our coursework discussions.

I studied Business Management at Greenwich after reading some great reviews about the course and the university from existing and previous students. I enjoyed attending the library, choosing my literature, and talking to faculty staff and lecturers. I never felt under pressure and everyone was so polite and helpful, especially my form lecturers – they showed me lots of support.

I miss my university days and my course mates.

Life after Greenwich

I currently work as an Interim Project Manager for NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit. In this role I lead various projects on behalf of the NHS and their workstreams on areas including ward and patient discharges, weekend work site management and bed management. I coordinate ten workstreams of clinical staff who I meet on a weekly basis.

My advice for the next generation of Greenwich graduates it to keep at it no matter how hard, demanding and challenging the work may seem. Balance your studies and social life but remember to keep your focus on your future.
