Course: MA Strategic Marketing Communications, 2013

Job: Digital Marketing Manager (Central, East & West Africa), Beiersdorf

My time at Greenwich was a real eye opener; the course opened me up to a new way of thinking, while I also got to meet new people from different backgrounds that gave me a different perspective to life.”

Memories of Greenwich

My fondest memories are times with my university friends (outside of work). It was amazing learning the different cultures, meeting these people, bonding with them and seeing life through their eyes. These are times I refer to and memories I will always cherish as they also taught me major life lessons.

I had worked in marketing for a year before deciding to enroll on the MA programme at Greenwich. Choosing Greenwich was because of the strength of the curriculum. I had reviewed two other schools and Greenwich was the best fit for what I wanted to learn.

chose this photo to represent my Greenwich Snapshot because it was taken during an internship as part of my programme at Greenwich. The internship was with a digital agency, House of Kaizen, which launched me onto the career path which I am still treading today.

Life after Greenwich

Post-Greenwich, I have (by God’s grace) led a career in digital marketing since 2013. This has been an amazing journey that has also opened me up to knowledgesharing and people development across different levels and industries. This career path started with the internship during my programme at Greenwich and years later, I am still on the same path. Thank you to Phil Holden of the faculty and David Sheill of House of Kaizen for the internship opportunity that set me on my way.
